On the night of 29 October 2018, the VAIA storm struck in South Tyrol and throughout north-east Italy, which leveled about 650 hectares of forest.

The project takes its name from the cataclysm itself and is based on the documentation of the catastrophic effects of the wind that night, in the area that includes the municipality of Nova Levante up to the Costalunga pass. My intent is to continue documenting the evolution and rebirth of the woods.  

The artistic act is aimed at raising awareness and accompanying the user on the reflection of the process of loss, absence and rebirth, in an infinite and natural cyclical nature of events.

We are nature, we live thanks to it.
